The Nike Air Penny 2 “Faded Spruce” is a colorway of Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway’s second signature shoe with a casual, off-court design. The Air Penny 2 returned in a big way thanks to collaborations with Stussy and a string of original and non-original colorways, like the “Faded Spruce,” that brought much-warranted attention to the venerable hoops shoe. The design features a Faded Spruce leather build with a black synthetic nubuck overlay. Hardaway’s “1 Cent” logo is embroidered on the lateral side of the shoe, on the tongue, and on the heel. Nike’s Zoom Air cushioning technology is embedded in the forefoot of the midsole and an Air unit is encapsulated within the heel. Release date: January 20, 2023
